My creative career started in graphic design after studying at Coventry Faculty of Art and Design and the London College of Printing. I started silk painting in 1994 and became instantly mesmerised by the flood of colour on the silk. I try to keep that purity of colour when I am painting. 

I also experiment with different hand printing techniques and particularly like lino printing over a painted or dyed silk ground.

'Make and Take' workshops are held in conjunction with Hazel Aldridge (pewter embossing) and provide an introduction to both crafts as well as a day away from the stresses of everyday life.
